My son, Eric Jalil Nuttall, was born yesterday at 9.56pm. Mother and baby are both fine; we took him home today.
Obviously, my next book will be delayed. <grin>
Merry Christmas to all my readers!
OK, you can have two weeks off then you got to back to work writing. [Very Very Big Evil Grin]
Seriously, I’m glad everything went alright. [Smile]
Merry Christmas and a best wishes for a New Year to you and yours. Most especially the new little one! 🙂
Congratulations. Should be more writing as you will be awake more.
I am glad for you!
Congratulations to you and your wife Chris and season’s greetings.
Great name by the way 😊
Congratulations on your most-awesome “present”!!! Merry Christmas!
What a wonderful Christmas present for the two of you. Congratulations and Happy Holidays.
What a special gift! Congratulations to your family.
Congratulations again, Chris, for you and Aisha. (Especially Aisha. :-D)
Congratulations! What a wonderful Christmas present.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Chris, and congratulations 🙂 With most people I would anticipate a sharp decline in productivity following the arrival of a firstborn – I would so strongly anticipate this that I’d be willing to bet things I greatly cherish on the matter.
But with you…I probably wouldn’t bet anything I wasn’t already in the process of parting with 😉 Enjoy the next few weeks, man; they’ll only come once!
Congratulations to you and yours…..now the fun begins!
Congratulations and Merry Christmas!
Congratulations to the both of you! Here’s hoping lack of sleep doesn’t impair your writing ability too much! Hopefully he will be like my first boy and soon be sleeping through the night!
Congratulations Chris. May your son bring joy to you and your wife.
Merry Christmas to you all.
My heartiest congratulations to you both! Just think of all the fun as you cuddle him in his carrier while you manipulate the keyboard! There’s absolutely nothing like those first few weeks! Happy Christmas and a Merry and fun New Year!
Have a Healthy and Happy New Year to all of you. Now begins the two AM feedings, the diapers that need to be changed immediately after you’ve changed him. Oh, and don’t forget the constantly wet shoulder from drool, chewing on your shirt, and throwing up. Oh, the throwing up! You’ll smell sour for I don’t know how long. But it’s all worth it when he’s grown and you have a Good Man for a son.
May God bless and keep you all in this season of giving and for ever.
OUTSTANDING! Best wishes!
Welcome to the universe Eric Jalil Nuttall. May your parents never doubt that you REALLY need TWO BIG presents even if your birthday and Christmas are so close together. Wishing you and your parents health and happiness now and in the New Year. I’m a very new fan of your Dad’s work – started the YA series Schooled in Magic a week ago and, despite being very busy with family Christmas preparations and celebrations, downloaded (at full price from Amazon) SiM4 this morning. Ideas great, writing bit stilted to start with but held my interest and by v. 3 quite satisfactory. Looking forward to trying other titles.
Congratulations mate! 🙂
Congratulations to you both and the new born, may you have a good NEW Year and plenty of ideas over the coming 12 months
Congratulations! Just remember that his name is Eric, and not Jesus, and wrapping birthday presents in Christmas paper is bad form. 😉
Congratulations 🙂 I hope your son will be a great writer like you are 🙂
Congratulations to all three of you! Chris, now your troubles begin! Tee Hee Hee!
Congrats! Now you have a day job too!
Congratulations, there is no more challenging or rewarding thing in life than raising a child. When it gets frustrating, remember you were once there and how you were raised made you what you are today and the world is better for it.
