New Book – and Free Promotion!

19 Feb

I’ve just uploaded The Fall of Night, an older book of mine, to Kindle. As a free promotion for my fans, the book will be available free from 22nd February to 23rd February, US time. Check out the free sample, then download it from Amazon. All comments and reviews welcome.

If you like my writing, please share this post.

Europe, 2025.

Britain – and the European Union – is struggling to remain civilised. Unemployment is high, ethnic and religious tensions are rising sharply, crime is skyrocketing, the value of money is falling and the whole system is on the verge of collapse. Across the continent, united only in name, countless individuals struggle to keep themselves afloat and survive for a few more days.

But weakness invites attack and covetous eyes set their sights on the remains of Europe’s industry and trained population. As a military juggernaut descends on an unprepared continent, the remains of Britain’s once-proud military must fight to defend their country … or watch helplessly as Britain falls into darkness.

[As always, my books are DRM-free.  Download a free sample, read the afterword and then purchase from amazon here.]

Just finished The Fall of Night. Great book. You need to wake the US up and have them help the refugees from the UK and Europe return to Europe and kick some A**.

Just finished the Fall of Night. Insure hope that you plan to continue the saga. I personally, would hate to see it end this way. I have bought many of your books and I have enjoyed your writing. I’m looking forward to more!

Got The Fall of Night, and finished it in two sittings. I thought it started out as fairly reminiscent of Tom Clancy’s “Red Storm Rising” — but it sure didn’t end that way. What a gut-wrenching end, although leavened somewhat by the reunion.

Chris, I must say that I rather like your people, in that one can relate to them. That is not to say _like_ them, but at least have some notion of their motivations.

IO, too, am looking forward to a sequel; perhaps it could be entitled “A New Day Dawns” or something like that.

Done! Review given to Amazon on February 28th at 9:30 EST (US time) and is awaiting moderation. (5 Stars, BTW)

“In The Valley of the Shadow” works well for the second volume of a three-volume series. “A New Day Dawning” then becomes the title for the third.

Good Book – but hate to be picky – need a little editing before release (not spelling, incorrect words came out from your spellchecker.
